well the foundation was good and brought the $$$ but do to that it is pot luck on getting a dog because of the breeders just breeding for the money . anything from the south has got to be good .

it is 6 one way, half a dozen the other. iv got dogs outa both registries and it is luck of the draw no matter what. if you look around you can find foundation dogs that are bout the same price as the what used to be the southern.

Like my pop said "you don't hunt the papers".  Whatever papers go to the dog that hunts hardest and finds hogs. Although, I'm still partial to the southern dogs.

another way to find out which registry is, take a quater and label head 1 registry and tails the other and flip it. which ever side it lands on, get that registry. them papers dont make a dog hunt, just a means of tracking the bloodline. put a tracking collar on the papers of both registries and see which piece of paper strikes a hog first. My Black Mouths are double registered, both in Southern and Foundation, mainly because I couldn't register my pups in the Foundation so I registered all my dogs in the Southern.
Shame when you have two registered dogs and can't register pups.

Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.

randy wright from what iv heard from sevral people doese not like john ross. they had a falling out some 10 yrs back. if a dog is registered under the bmcba and bred to a foundation, randy will not honor the pups.

I have two registered Foundation dogs, male and female, Mr. Wright said no to registere\ing pups.  He has a picture of my female on his web site.  He lets who he want register pups and no one else.
So I got my dogs double registered and now will register in the Southern.

Bmcba will register short tailed dogs too. The tails have to b half tails or longer n can even reg stub/bob tails, but the tails have to cut as a pup. I reg my pups n their tails were a couple inches long, but i docked them myself

Camp~country, you have one of the females that were listed for sale? Can you tell me how you got her? I have one, and I thought I knew who had the other. Just like to keep track of the crosses I have.

Best to sell is anything with black mouth cur on it right now, they are worthless IMHO, by the way a south ern cur is not a yellow black mouth cur now, back then or ever, Howard the promoter created a hybrid strain so he could sell pupplys out of Full cry magazine way back, the orginal yellow black mouth cur is not registered but held in a vault that was once used to guard the Fort Knox gold bars, with the way the puppy mills are turning out yellow dogs for $1000 each truthfully you could probabbly buy a squirrel dog strain treeing yellow black mouth cur from NKC or USDR and have a better dog and a orginal one as most nowdays.  I still remeber when the east texas yellow black mouth cur was unregistered and was the dog to get.  When i see where people on this site and other advertise foundation curs crossed up with Ladner Curs and Souther Carantan curs i laugh out lound, mongerls is all those crossed up strains are in my view, 4 types of strains with papers to sell to some poor guy for $500 to $1000 if they buy the yellow black mouth cur coolaid they sell to newbies.  If the registerys were worth a dang they would blackball anybody who was trying to cross up 3 or 4 completely different dogs, some not even ybmc just to  make money on the papers puppy registration and set up websites for puppy factorys!!!

Long live the backyard splitters  hog dog strain brreders with no papers who did not and do not drink the yellow black mouht cur coolaid!!!!lol   East texas original yellow black mouth curs for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!  Puts on Outlaws Green Grass and Hightides for ever and turns it up!!!!!!!!
