I prefer the boot between the eyes and stand up on them you will either put the nose in the dirt and stop them or go over them. I did have one start to come back into the pen behind me once. Luckily someone saw it and gave me a heads up. I don't like using a board I think it gives a false sense of security. Sometimes I can grab them that way but mostly I do it to avoid getting got. but I have been wanting to try the hat trick. I will get someone to video my attempts just for you to enjoy and get a good laugh.

I = intelligence
I'm priveleged ta say I've been around a good cross section of both Kiwi's and Aussie's... Kiwi's seem to be, as a whole, a simple/hard working/good natured bunch.... never had a cross moment with any of them(well... one...  )... but as a whole, good people... ... on the other hand... Aussies I have, inevitably, come to confrontation with... can't put my finger on it... but for some reason we just don't seem to get along... |

Ask the Indian looking guy at the last hog bay in monett, mo how this worked out for him. Unfortunately I went to grab a drink from the truck during the tough man challenge, so I missed the actual carnage. I did however see the bloodtrail from the pen to the car that took him to the hospital. Apparently he was fine after several stitches in his arm and closing up the artery. Thanks but no thanks. I'll leave the catching job to the dogs!!

Wheres the videos Noah?Show us how u do it. I saw a video on utube a big ol boy flipped a good one with to gritty hound slobbering on his nose but no teeth on the hog.Only time I ever saw it.You might get your own show on A&E

Noah if you want your own show I might know some people that could make it happen. I know a director that might be willing to shoot a pilot and go pitch it to the networks. I have some thoughts on a show. I just don't want to be in front of the camera that much. But if you want to talk about it shoot me a PM with your number. I will talk to you about a few things and if it sounds good I will call my friend and see what he thinks. Actually I know a few people in that industry.

May need you on there too It does not matter how good you are people on here are ruthless I think if it were done right it would be good, and I'd try and lend any help to do so that was needed. I honestly think that National Geo would be interested in doing a complete overview of the dog hunting world, not just the hog dogging. I would deff be interested in what happens with this... So Noah, of you don't want to be alone in your venture hit me up and well converge mind power on it! Lol! |

YouTube sabInal wild hog festival. There is pretty good videos. The name of the game is two man teams and one round pen with a fresh hog, fastest time to catch and sack the hog wins.
