http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-To-3-Bench-Die-Bender-Pipe-Square-Rod-Bender-Bench-Top-7-Dies-Portable-/280824471550?pt=BI_Pipe_Benders&hash=item4162715ffe

Would this also work for bending 3/4 in square tubing?
Not sure if you had to have another part to keep it from crimping. Thanks.

I have always made square cuts on my dog racks thought it would look pretty cool bending a whole rack with only a few welds. Anybody else have a manual bender or knows for sure what these dies are capable of? I was under the impression u had to have a round die to follow and roll every bend to keep the tubing from collapsing.

I have one of those and I also have a really high in tubing bender. It will cripple. My ecroline bender won't let it cripple but in the middle of the bend in will dimple in. The only way to bend it prefect you need a mandrel bender. Which start at $20,000 and up

there will be a crimp in on both sides of the bend.  I have bent metal back in high school in a fab shop with a 300 dollar bender so the 20000 is off. Unless u are talking about stretching and shrinking where it is still complete square even in the bend.

if you filled the tube with sand, it will help to keep it somewhat in shape. a lil heat may help too.

Yes I'm talking about where is you buy a Mandela bender it will look prefect. It won't have any dents ripples or stretching at all. And $20k is like a old use bender. There not cheap. My good bender that cost be 10k new is draw type and it just slitghy dent in the inner way of the tubing.

Sound like yall need a bandsaw and a little stick weld on the the side where the 45 was cut out just like u would do for angle too!  Ya I'm not a bending exp, but being a level2 qc helps know that if u don't have the right tools is not going to work it may be better to cut 3 sides of the square tubing !
