With all the rain a lot of us have been getting we better watch the creeks and rivers,  me and my hunting buddy just lost a good dog tonight, he drowned in the creek he had tried to cross but the current took him down about 75 yrds,  there was a logg jam and we couldn't get to him fast enough the water pushed him under the loggs and he never came back up we have not found him yet and may never the Garmin quit working when he went under.      R.I.P. OL HANK.

What tha heck man. No call?  You call me when you are flat on your butt in a thicket after a hog runs you over but.....no call for this.

Was it the puppy Cody picked up?

Sorry to hear bout it homie.

know Myles it was Cody's dog alright but it was his old dog hank, he was about 4 I think good dog and was one of are best hog stopping dogs hate it for him, but sometimes it just happens and thay ain't a thing you can do. We tried to get in the water but it was a death trap about 10ft deep. Just something you just don't think about.

Yep I know the feeling. We lost a bulldog several years ago crossing the river. It sucks for sure.

Tell Cody that I hate to hear it. Know he is ticked about it.

Man I'm sure sorry to hear that. My wife, JoeTBH, and I were just talking about this the other night... We hunt a lot of bottoms, and so do most hunters. Especially when it is dark, and you can't see the current moving as well as you can in the day. The whole logjam in the creek thing is just something that all of us pray doesn't happen. RIP Ol Hank

When the water goes down I bet you find him in the wood. Really sorry to hear it.
