I have squeezed much into this short life. Over the years, I have been accused of being overly confident, even arrogant at times. For this I will never apologize. At the grande age of 19, I was already beginning to grow restless in my tenure at the University of Florida... I found myself constantly daydreaming while in Physics class... actually called out(many times ) in Psychology for lack of attention... haha, he always HATED the fact that I was constantly prepared when he tried to put me on the spot... have to admit I may have baited him occasionally... I do enjoy a good fight... ... at a certain point, my "daydreaming" became more intense... I was "craving" adventure, craving something to be afraid of... I found, in the back of a Western Horseman magazine... an add looking for laborers for a new ranch out in Pagosa, Colorado... I sent them a letter, told them I didn't know d!ck about horses, but had a strong back and was hungry to learn... and off to adventure I went.... Within six months I'd worked up to the top of the ladder, I didn't even know what the hell I was doing... but I learned the horse and just as quickly learned to teach people to do the same... ... it seems a million miles away, that at this point, I was asked by a certain horseman to travel the world to represent him.... ... quite honestly it spooked me. The idea of traveling the world, teaching horsemanship the majority of the year.... as "glamorous" as it might seem to be... was NOT what I wanted for the rest of my life.... ... the keys to the kingdom were placed into my hand and I gave them right the hell back HAHA.... ... to this day, all it would take is a phone call and I could drop right back into the game... but it is not a life I want for my family. My personal time with my family is more important than anything. Been there, done that... not going back. ... this has almost become my venue of "confession" lol.... again, I apologize for the randomness...

Noah - Your either really full of chit with all these tales you tell, or a talented guy who has done a lot for such a young age. I'm not sure which yet?
You should write books either way cause you do for sure have a knack for writing.
God Bless,Waylon

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!

HAHAHA, I wouldn't believe myself either, if it were not for my freinds that have been there to tell the story...often better than me... .... at a ripe age of almost 36, many stories almost seem like distant dreams now... which bothers me... I do not want to grow so old as not to be able to make new stories... GOOD stories...

Yes it is... you get to try the hot springs? Nothin' "cooler" than easing into a hot spring surrounded by snow... I've been meaning to take my wife out there for a weekend just to experience that and the scenery.... damn sure wouldn't want to live there though... I like my soft, green, flatlands... hard to come by in that territory!!!

Didnt get to do much, we were building a log cabin for Gary Morris and stayed in a camper on his ranch. Just up from the chromo mercantile "store" it was the only store for miles. Had a great view of the Navajo peaks. Actually got to hunt with Gary one day. He is some kind of celebrity. Real nice guy. Did get to take a big cow elk with my bow, and seen tons of mule deer, and a couple bear on my evening adventures after work. But i am like you, I don't know if i could live there.

When I was rodeoing, I traveled with the same crew for a long time. We are all spread out now, and don't all get together that often anymore. It's funny how I can never remember the stupid stuff I did, but get us all together, and between us all, we remember everything. Maybe it's that we won't let each other live it down!

i wouldnt say he is full of chit, but more like hot air. I read his "stories" and note a common theme ... lots of drama, colorful descriptions and him cast in a leading man role. It all strikes me as insecurity when you regularly post them on a forum like this (and probably many others). When someone regularly engages in self promotion they usually have self worth issues.

I'm sorry, but I gotta say something... You make a lot of valid points in other posts RL, but come on man... can't you just read the stories and enjoy them like everyone else??? I would call it more sole searching, than self promotion. The man obviously has things in his life that matter and that he cares about IE: kid(s) + wife = family... but also has things that he can't seem to figure out by himself, and maybe just wanted to be heard (as you obviously do ). Do you not think that it helps to talk to people who you may not know very well to get an honest opinion or idea??? Maybe I'm by myself on this, but I enjoy reading people's stories on here whether it be for sole-searching, venting, idea bouncing, ect... and since it's a public forum I bet you the "creators" promote it. Just saying... LOL! It actually make us hog doggers' seem like we do have hearts... LMAO!

Yep, Noah coming on here and telling all his tarzan, deadliest catch, mafia wild tales is almost as bad as someone posting about nothing but politics... this is a HOG DOGGER website for goodness sake!!! Dont sweat it Noah, I for one enjoy reading your tall tales and adventures!! And atleast you post about hogs every once in a while!!
