I would like to start out thanking JSH, Jimmy, and Dana for the invite to be one of the 5 Dog teams to have the privilage and honor to escort a few Heros on this weekends Halo For FREEDOM Hog Hunt. It was great to meet and talk dogs with all the other dog teams Will and Ryder, Mike and Amanda, Andy Jason, and gary , and last but not least Monty Brian, and Chad. CUJO Kennels crew consisted of Leon & Kaleb Keys, and Myself we got a late start on friday afternoon about 1 by the time our first Warrior got on sight, loaded the dogs and went to hunting about 20 minutes in my Freak dog hits the trail and bays up at the top of the biggest hill/ mountain on the place Leon and Kaleb get there and seal the deal with Keechi my old man CD, AND THAT IS WHERE THE work BEGINS! We drag the hog about 1/2 a mile through the roughest steepest country I have ever hunted so that OUR HERO who was paralyzed from the waist down could get his STICK ON! When Jason got it done tears welled up in my eyes as I thought what a tiny sacrafice I made for him and what a monster sacrafice he made for me. after pics and alot of bragging we end up with a great memory. Fri 5:30 our second set of warriors show up at the ranch we turn out in a small pasture of the ranch with no luck so we decide to head over behind the cattle barns. as soon as we turn out my Nicki dog strike a runner and all I see is the fastest pig in Palo Pinto County headed south never to stop again for us atleast! Its coming on dark thirty pretty quick and we are on a schedule so I call JSH TO CHECK OUT WHAT TO DO! He told me what ever my Warriors wanted so Big Brad, and Juan said we will hunt all night if need be so with one headlamp and a flashlight here we go Our ranchhand/ Guide Roberto said there is a good area down on a creek so we get there and turn out and after 2 minutes of roading the dogs we are on the trail dogs bay all over this creek Spanky has a solo bay going Freak, Nicki, and Jack got one locked down so we head to the first one dogs swimming HOG SWIMMING 6.5 FEET STEEP BANKS AND THEN me and Leon swimming  caught the hog by his back hair Leon CLEARED the dogs off his ears and I busted him with my Warriors Juans pistol all in about 7 feet deep water my Warriors were jacked up hooting and hollering smiles from ear to ear!! Sat morn last hunt of the weekend  turn out on a 17000 acre pasture  with Andy, Jason, and Gary one of the other dog teams that didn't have a warrior so we load up head out Freak strikes a crew on the south end of the lake  goes 180 yds bays up nicki, Jack, Spanky. Yeller, and Deets on the way to the bay hit another group of hogs and put the teeth to a nice 150 lbs sow with the squellin and comotion going on we decide to go get or warrior on the sow 100 yds behind us that was caught Brian our warrior led the bulldog and finished the sow off. we started to head to freak bayed at 1.5 long story short after awhile sent the warriors back to camp Jason, Roberto, and I walked 8 miles finally found "The Freak show" 1/4 mile from Lake Palo Pinto bayed on a 250 lbs sow and 110 lbs sow he went 10 miles on track and bayed.  That being said Thank You to all the USA Military who gave Life and Limb so that all of us can live free.. God Bless the USA and our Fighting and Wounded HEROS!!!!!!!!  my phone didnt survive the swim but Kaled's did I'll get the pics up as soon as possible prob this evening

I couldn't agree with you guys more. Big Thanks to jsh for allowing us the honor and privelage to give a little back to the WARRIORS WHO HAVE GIVEN SO MUCH FOR US. Cujo, Kaleb, and I took this opportunity seriously and really wanted to put our Warriors on hogs and make them feel relaxed and comfortable during the process.  We put all 3 groups we took out on hogs and seen alot of smiles doing it. Very satisfying to come through for them. Great to see Monty, tx hogsand dogs, Will, Ryder, Mike Savoy & Amanda, Jason, Andy, and all the dogs. Great group of people for a good cause. Really cool to see the father/son duo of Will and Ryder put on a hog catchin display with that pick up bed full of rough dogs. Special Thanks to Jason for his work on the GPS when Freak decided to go "walkabout." Finally, thanks Cujo for not tellin everybody I screamed like a girl when u capped that pig in the back of the head less than a foot from my head.  Scared the #?*! out of me. It was an AWESOME 2 days. BTW hunters, remember to take your cell phones out before you go swimmin to save dogs! Replacement Iphones aint cheap.
