I have a good gyp I will be taking to the vet at some point tomorrow I guess. I noticed only one eye shining tonight and on closer inspection she looks to have a corneal abrasion. The pupil is shrunk down to a pin prick size and she's favoring it. Anybody ever seen this, and what should I expect as far as treatment. I'm not talking money either, I don't hardly care what it takes as long as the eye is ok.

I have a dog that messes his eyes up every few months.
The pupil being that small is a little odd to me, my dogs pupil usually gets huge.
I had the last vet I saw about his eyes, write two scripts for this antibacterial/anti fungal drops called Tobramycin Ophthalmic.
Every time a cabbage palm cuts his eyes or saw grass gets him - couple drips does him right.

Chances are, your vet is going to want to do an eye stain, to pinpoint any corneal abrasion like you mentioned. Depending on what he sees, he will likely prescribe drops and/or an ointment to hopefully shrink down the abrasion if that is indeed what it is. You'll have to take her back for a follow up so he can re-stain it to check the progress.

Next morning all was well, she had a foreign object I guess? No weepy eye, no tenderness. Got lucky I guess
