Wounded Warrior hunt.  That is Leroy Petry on the left - Congressional Medal of Honor recipient.  Look him up - a true hero.  Can't remember the other hero's name, but an honor to guide them both.  Wish I could have gotten them some bigger hogs, but it's a little tough when you're carrying 3 warriors, three hunters, 2 still camera men and a video crew (4 vehicles).

So I performed a little trickery and got him a big one......................

Sow that Cantexduck's Sally and Sam bayed up on the Brazos.

End result after she broke and ran to the river.

Future hoggers right here - no joke they eat it up.

Wheat field sow.

Sam

Wore out dogs.

So you get home from being out hunting "all weekend" - the wife's already a little ticked so Sam decides he'd just go ahead and put her over the edge all together for me and dig up her flowerbed to find himself a cool napping spot.  Can't win.

Good pictures, I like that Sam dog. How is that Brute Box compared to a Yeti? I am thinking of ordering a Brute.

I own a Yeti, but the guy that owns the Brute says they're just as good and not as expensive.  He owns and operates a guide service so he uses it every day.  I'd try one out.

Thanks on Sam - I like him too.

I saw Leroy on Jay Leno I believe or some other late night show and heard his story and he was able to "show off" his robotic arm.  Really a remarkable human being.  Great hunt and pictures.

That's awesome man. My cousin was in a hummer in Iraq last year and they hit a mine and blew the hummer up . He was killed instantly so I respect everybody that is involved with the soilders and everything that has to do with helping them out . We get togather once a month and send care packages over there to show our support . It's the little things that people can do to make a soilder or a soilders family happy and its amazing when you get the chance .

Yes we really are he was 19 and if u asked him.he would tell you his living his dream he loved every minute of it so not a day goes by we don't somehow talk about him. He always said he would die serving for his country but boy we never thought he would this young. But they said only the good die young .
