I've been noticing that a lot of users are in southern Texas...

I think that it would be cool if everyone posted what area they are from and/or hunt in... maybe even some pics of the terrain. It will give some idea on how wide spread the hog doggers really are.  Grin

I am from Greenville, TX. Hunt County. We hunt a lot of places around that area like Point, Emory, Farmersville, and Boles.

What about you guys/gals?

I live in Hamilton. Hunt in Hamilton, Coryell, Erath, and Throckmorton. Cedar trees, mosquite trees, and lots of rocks! I've been in madisonville and it's way out of my territory. I kept tripping over things Cus I couldn't stop staring up into the trees! Couldn't get over how many big, tall trees there were  Grin

Man that FL terrain is different huh? Ima have to make a trip over there some day to try my luck... Looks like it could get touchy in some spots, and not to mention gators!   Evil

I didn't know if anyone would pay attention to this, but I thought it would be pretty cool to see some of the other places people hunt! Thanks for sharing guys and gals! Keep em coming!

I'll post some pics of the terrain where we hunt when I get home.  Grin

Ryan, the pipeline company that James works for has a pumping station in Greenville. He has to go there once a year. Maybe next time we are in town we will get a chance to meet you.

Yeah Dinah, give me a shout! If ya'll have enough time we can go make a "quick" run... LOL! Nothing is really quick around here though... Lots of runners, and lots of thick thick stuff! But I'm always down to hunt so bring it! Or if you guys just wana grab a cold one and a bite to eat that works too!

Well I found a couple pics... non of the absolute bottoms we hunt, but some pretty thick stuff. And most of its like this around here if you're wanting to get on em...

I like this pic... Going into the bay/catch...

and these hurt! I got put out one weekend because I stepped on one of these, it popped up, and hit me in the eye...

But either way, I think, in Texas you can go 20 miles and the terrain is different. That is why I asked for pics of everybodies hunting grounds... This is a wonderful state that we live in!!!!

Long live Texas!!!!

I'm from Muskogee OK and we hunt all over eastern Oklahoma. I'll try to find some pics. We have everything from mountains to thick river bottoms to open cropland.
