Here is a little of what I saw in Clear Lake, Tx yesterday.  Maybe if enough people speak up, Washington will begin to listen a little more.

Circle C You are a patriot. I went to a Tea party in Ft. Worth awhile back and was at one in Burleson TX on the 15TH. I saw where the government  put out a report that we are extremist. I made a sign that said " PROUD TO BE AN EXTREMIST IN THE DEFENCE OF LIBERTY " I shook a lot of hands and was told by a few that I was probably going to get on a government watch list. If the government watches me for very long they will probably get tired of watching me go to work. The other side of my sign said " I'LL DIE ON MY FEEY BEFORE I'LL LIVE ON MY KNEES "  ( I mean that )

Watch Perry Closely. I personally believe that much of what you are seeing of him that you like is political posturing. Why would he all of a sudden start saying things and doing things that you agree with when he hasn't done or said anything like this in the past? It looks like he's going to have to win over more of the vote in the next election. That's why he's so buddy buddy with the tea party attendees. It's a huge movement  and he thinks he needs to win their support.

Personally, the forthcoming candidates for governor have me confused. Kinky "The Statesman" has really said some things I don't agree with lately, showing me a side of him I really don't like. Perry tried to nail us to the wall by pushing through the trans texas corridor and a big land grab without presenting it for a vote. Kay Bailey Hutchison to me represents a typical politician. She has put in lots of Pork for Texas up in D.C., but it's still pork. Looks like another election where there just aren't any clear cut good guys.

Cheers
M
PS  I tried to keep this as politically neutral as possible.

seems Kinky would be a little more suited for California or Oregon with his hippy ways....just my take on him.
i don't trust Hutchinson....and Perry ain't much better.  you're definitely right about his new found "for the people" garbage he's been spewing lately, you always have to watch the left hand while he's shakin your hand with the right.

Amen Brother!

I know that they'd better come up with someone we like for governor though. It's getting closer to the election and there just isn't anyone I like.
