Let me first say that Justin is a really nice, easy going guy who is fun to hunt with. Has some good dogs too.  Smiley

Justin met up with us yestarday evening and we made a hunt out on our place. The dogs bumped a sounder in the woods and everything including the dogs went in different directions.

The dogs would show bayed for a little while on the garmin and then they would be on the move again. We went in the check where it all started and we found a choat that the dogs had taken. And a few other clues that they had hit a group of choats....

There was about a spot in the woods the size of a baseball diamond all freshly rooted up. I guess the dogs busted up the party.  Grin

We finally gathered the dogs back up and moved to the other side of the farm. The dogs got another hog, a bit bigger than the first one. Nothing big enough to brag about but we still had a fun hunt.

Catching hogs and making new friends.... it doesn't get any better.

James, Justin, and our cd prospect Turbo

I neglected to mention that Heath McKey and a friend of his also hunted with us last night. Heath hunts with us quite often so when I say "us", I sometimes group Heath in there too. Sorry Heath. Love ya buddy.  Grin

I don't think there is nothing more enjoyable than catching hogs with good people and good dogs.  Your CD prospect is a good lookin dog and looks like he could do the job well.

Good deal Dinah, looks like y'all had a fun hunt. I don't know what Turbo is exactly....but he's as slick as a mole and as shiny as if he's been'oiled'.....good lookin' dog though.

Neal, thanks. He is our pit/dogo x dane/mastiff pup. He is 6 1/2 months now and we are trying to socialize him. He isn't used to being around a lot of strangers. I hope he works out but if he doesn't, its ok because he is a great house dog.

Turbo is pushing around 75 lbs right now. A month ago he weighed 60 lbs by the vet scale's. He is turning out to be a really good dog.
