I got a plott/cat jam up strike dog, unfortunately he has a ruptured disc from the last hog he got on and probably will never hunt again  Sad

I'm assuming this is a first time cross? Just because the sire and dam are good dogs, doesn't mean they can produce.

Why not place the pups with friends and prove them before coming on here wanting deposits on an unproven cross? Wink

My mentor uses these dogs a lot, I supply the plotts and he gets some cats and mixes them. I prefer the plotts but he likes the cat/plotts...hell they have plott so I can tolerate them Grin

catahoula plott crosses are good dogs but not every catahoula and plott cross works . what kinda garranty are you going to offer . me personally on a first time cross they come with a one year warrenty . and what kinda prices you talkin and what;s the bloodline on both sides plott's and cats ?  pictures of the proposed sire and dame ? need alot more info on the dogs before i would even consider sending a deposit on a pup with no info on the parents other than they hunt . but enlighten me i may be interested in some new blood in the futer .
