my dc-30 collar wont connect to my handheld unit and instead of the lights blinking there just solid red light does anyone know whats wrong with it? and how i could get it to connect to my handheld unit?

Take it and update it on the pc and keep updating it the light will go off . Its missing some type of information just keep updating . Mine done the same thing finally the info went threw and the light went off.

do i have to pair it to my handheld to update it cause it wont connect to it or anything i cant pick it up and start tracking it

I would take the casing apart and disconnect the battery for 1 minute. It kind of "resets" the collar and then you can try the upload. It may seem difficult at first, but I've done it several times and it is no problem. Everything goes back just the way you took it apart.
