Some Parkers will be brindle and look like this one. this is a dog named Rowdy II which was on larry's yard but not sure if thats the case today. i have a male that looks just like him.

It's no hard most times but extremely hard if you're picky on the breeding of the two dogs.  I am pretty sure Larry makes the best crosses, theyre his dogs so it's only natural. Not saying that no one who breeds them dogs doesn't do a good job, but I feel Larry makes the better crosses.

Talk to him or someone close to him and ask if they've made a cross recently.  I did and am extremely happy with the results, I did in fact just give a puppy away that was off his Joe dog, I've got the two littermates that are black and tan, and am pleased with how they're build is coming on but as far as anything else, they're puppies.

Theres no way for any of us to know wether or not you made a good purchase. If you like the dog, then hunt it till it croaks, if you don't like it croak it.

Is the middle one the male dog you got from Larry?

He passes as my gyps twin, he has the exact same head and shorter muzzle.

On the pictures:

All three are colored up just like they should be.  The two bottom pictures could pass as littermates to some dogs I know are full Parkers. The top one looks just like a parker but is probably a well built catahoula.

Pictures tell you nothing, nothing wrong with looking, some things are pretty obvious, but either way talk to Larry and he can set you straight as far as where most of his dogs are.
