I have a redbone that we hunted today he wasn't coming in when we called him so I walked in to him and he saw me and just layed down I got him to stand and he was holding his left pawl up he  will let me touch all over it but won't even walk I had to carry him out I couldn't see any snake bits but still give him a shot of pinicillin and two ibuprofens  is there anything else I can do?

I would check on that, possibly on 200MG level its too much...I have been using children's ibuprofen for years on my dogs, from terrier to bulldog, at recommendation of my old school vet. Suckers are still out there eating my dog food and huntin

I had a dog pull up on a paw and it was all swollen up. I could not find any bite so I went to the vet. His guess was it had dislocated but reset itself. I just gave anti inflammatory drugs and kept him in his kennel for a week or two alone. He is fine now.
