Cody I would give anything to have the pics of the damage at our lease in Kent Co.  One spring they decided they liked the roots under these elm looking trees that had trunks nearly 10-12" in diameter to give you an idea of the tree size.  The hogs rooted completely under the root ball!!  We are talking an area nearly 20' in diameter and 4'-6' deep.  I have never seen rooting like it before or since.  The trees subsequetly died and some we were able to push the dirt back in the hole and save.  We have seen killed some absolute monster hogs in your part of the world, several that would easily go over the 400lbs mark.
