Go get sprayed by a skunk and wear the same clothes and no shower for the next three days you will be all cleared up.  Kinda messing with ya but every time I get a cold I get the same number 2 it is in my chest right now because I'm too stuborn to go to the doc.  But every time I pass a fresh killed skunk the smell clears me up for a little while.

Nothin' but time will get rid of that stuff now Noah. It happens to me in almost the same way....however,....I have found a way to turn it around before it gets a foothold on you. At the very first little tickle or sneeze, start taking 'Airborne' every 4 hrs. I think it is. Also, get some Zicam nasal swabs and do that as often as the instrctions say you can. This will ward off a cold before it gets into your system and you can't get rid of it. The key to this is to start early.....the longer you wait after you know it's coming on the less chance you have to stop it........If you'll take the Zicam and Airborne now it will cut down the duration of the cold. This little trick works for me and has for a few years now....it's saved me a ton of misery. The Neti-pot is a cool little device that really does help....keep using it and good luck.

Thanks Neal, I've tried the Zicam but it seemed to actually make things worse the times I've used it... haven't tried the Airborne though, worth a try!

I use sinus wash booster from Walgreens. You mix it in the Nelie Pot.

Cold, I take Flo-nase(amazing chit if you have allergies, I suffered for years before I was prescribed this stuff!), but I only get the sinus funk after a bad head cold

Thought about having sinus surgery done, but heard some horror stories

Noah it is your allergies that is causing your sinus problems believe me I know I went threw hell with all of that stuff.  Until you find out what you are allergic to you will never get your sinuses cleared up .   You can take antibiotics for two weeks its gone then a month later it is back because of the allergies that is inflaming your sinuses .  Got to a allergist and find out what is causing it you are pollen allergic to something.

Once you get it cleared you need to take Clairtin but your sinuses have to be clear are it will do no good so get them cleared up and then take clairtin every day this will kill the allergies are if you are bad nuff they will give you allergy shots.

Again allergies is causing you to have chronic sinus infections and there is noting you can do unless you fix the allergies first .

I get it the worse in the fall when the north winds start and the tree pollen hits. I take 1 Benadryl at night and it helps but it still flares up.

A shot of Antibiotics work the quickest and the best, along with C-Phen.   I cannot bring myself to use the nettle pot but I keep Saline with me.

My allergies wear me out but when I flew to Marathon a few times for business I always got sinusitis before I realized the puddle hopper was causing it and the intramuscular injections plus decongestant kicked it just a few days....the pressure is so bad in my head that I get clogged ears and want to pass out just from getting in an elevator lol   Cheesy

Try boiling some water and then take the pot of off the stove. Then put a towel over your head and your head over the steaming hot water. Inhail the steam through your nose, breathing in deeply. At first it will just make your nose run, but eventually you should sneeze. Try to sneeze through your nose and this should help to clean your sinuses out. Sounds gross but it usually works.
