Luckily the hospital is near the house. I stay until kids go crazy. Just 20 minutes each way. But I. Am going crazy. Waiting to find out when the gall bladder is coming out and why.

We had to pay cash for my wife's surgery to have hers removed and it was about $7800 cash pay price.

I had a tendon behind my ankle (torn) repaired last year. They billed the over $12,000 but since I had insurance they only paid the negotiated amount which was less than $4,000. Bottom line, when the insurance company doesn't control the price it becomes outrageous. It just costs so much more to pay cash.

Just saw this Dub. Praying for your wife, you and family. Listen, as many people who dont pay squat to hospitals, if you send them 20$ a week, they'll think your a superstar patient and family! Dont even give hospital bills a second thought .
