Water levels are better.  Anything got to be better than last year.  We literally had a hole bout 12 inches deep that we made.  All we did was sent up an umbrella and table and play 42 while kiddos splashed in stale water.  H maybe we can meet up while down there and talk alittle dogs.

Charles...if you haven't been there you need to take your family out there camp and float the river...it is pretty nice and "FRIO" is the Spanish word for "COLD"...Garner State park is on the river and it is a nice park...there are a few other private parks along the river...

When people talk about Garner State Park, the Frio runs through it. We have teenage kids and they love it.

i went memorial day weekend. that frio river is way over rated, now the pecos is a river... frio creek or frio trickle would be a better description. we built a dam to get the water up to our knees and that took about three hours and a 12 pack. after that was over it was pretty nice until a gooch monster crawled into my shorts and started chewing where he shouldnt. it kind of looked like a centipede/crawfish and it hurt like hell. anyway i was not impressed with the frio.
