Has anybody tried this K9 Bluelite for hydration? In this heat and humidity, I've been thinking about giving the dogs some sort of 'gatorade' to keep them hydrated.
This stuff sounds good, but I was wondering if anyone has an experience with it?
Or any other similiar products or home solutions to this problem.
Thanks

Have you used pedialite? If so, could you tell a difference?

The Dr Pepper for me and the pedialite for the dogs? Seriously, do you mix the two?

yes and turkey baste it down the throat. old dogger remedy from my old man.
he was judging a night hunt years back and we were all resting and a dog keeled over, eyes in the back of his head and nobody could figure out what was wrong. my old man got to the truck and got his dr pepper and gatorade (what he had at the time) and force fed the dog and the dog ended up placing that night after.

I use the Hydration tabs that wild boar USA carries. I use them all year long rather than pedialyte becaau I can keep the tablets in the container on the ATV, or in pouch on my belt and add to any water bottle. Yes a dog that is hot and wobbly at a caught hog in a few minutes ofter iot has cooled down with the electrolytes can be back to maximum condition and running hard again for another hog. IT STILL REQUIRES COMMON SENSE IT IS NOT A FIX TO ALL HEAT STROKE
I try to give the dogs some when its warm before they get hot to get potassium into muscles to prevent cramping when I know the chances are high they are going to get in bad condition which with my little dogs and they way they hustle its a good possibility any time get on a hog after the month of MAY in Texas

yep in a pill that you just mix with any old water, can be nasty old pond water in a pinch if you got a empty bottle. they are called k9 hydration tabs, im confident it has saved a few dogs over the past few years from the symptoms
dr. kainer also sells them

So you give it to the dog when he is hot or before the hunt?
