Me and jhefern met up for a hunt tonight and since both of us have our best dogs in heat, we decided to go all spice girls on them corn field hogs and send some hormonal bitches their way.  Ended up with a good solid bay in some thick woods and we could smell the boar from the road! I knew we'd be crossing a slippery lil creek where I busted my butt last time so I left the phone in the truck. Coincidentally, I didn't really get all that wet, but back to the story. We made our way a hundred yards in to them and sent the catch dog. I hopped the log and we put that sucker down for Robbing corn. Wouldnt normally even post A story with no pics but the cool part is the only catch dog we had available was joshs lil ol patterdale stitch! She maybe 20-25 pounds and did a heck of a job!!!! It was a fun hunt and good catch for the three curs and a terrier. |
