I wasn't being snide. I was being honest. From the first day of posting you seemed as though you were above this whole forum thing, that's fine, but it seems as though you have read ANY/ALL responses or questions to you as condescension, rudeness, interrogation or whatever you wanna call it

I've got some dogs who hunt around 500-1000 yards and make good loops checking in every hour and once on a hog will usually bottom out at the 1.5-2 hour mark if he's a runner. Once bayed they are loose with decent intensity.

Other dogs of mine hunt very close but will take any sign or track..........

That's an example of what folks wanna hear. We're all just wanting to talk dogs and hogs, no offence meant until you got mad.
Peace Bro, happy trails.

This is me sitting on the fence.
Seems to me saltydog was under the impression someone had reached a vast amount of ppl with a rumor that he had quit business so he came here to let ppl know that he had not.
Sure its not a hard question to answer yalls questions on here but if he doesn't want to I don't think y'all should keep trying to get under someones skin to get a rise out of it.

Seems to me some guys are just looking for a good argument. That's just me. Everyone needs to chill out. If you want to know how his dogs hunt just email him or call him. Grin

Now ill tie myself to a tree so y'all can take aim

You come on here and talk about your dogs being worldwide and blah blah blah but you won't so muvh as say 1 single word about how they hunt and your gonna whine about us "heckling you" guess your just breedin pets?Huh? Lol it is what it is......you had some potential buyers but I think u ruined that.

And i never said you WERE a puppy mill, i was implying that by not answerin questions how would we know any different?

I could care less though, im bowing out...not so gracefully but all the same im out, have a good one.

Well, Mr. Corbell, This is what I know about you now. You should have never bowed in--you contributed NOTHING to my topic, you never were interested in my dogs, and what's more, all your interested in is stirring up crap and kicking good topics into the gutter. Yep time for you to skate, now that the damage is done.

"Topic drift"...but, I'll play along. I have an 8 year old gyp from a breeding that Doug Mason did with Facahatchee's Tx Chili x Swamp Pop's Daisy Blue. Trail dog that makes 200-600 yard loops until she hits a track. Not rough...if a hogs in the area, she'll find it. Next is a 4 year old Dennison dog from Chainrated. In sign, he's gone. No sign, he'll loop out and come right back to you. Good bottom, rough as a cobb, fast. Next, a 3 year old gyp out of a breeding Krystal Rohan put together (Cowhouse on top, Chili x Mason's Happy on the bottom). Hunts almost identical to the 8 year old gyp, bays a little tighter, and a little less nose though. Next is a JCross gyp. Hunts 150-400 yards out, will take a trail. Not as rough as the Dennison dog...but, almost. Bays real tight. Two pups of the Dennison dog and the 3 year old gyp. The male, when you turn him loose...you better be ready to hunt because he's gonna take you hunting...looks like he's gonna be rough like his daddy. The female is just getting started, and needs to be on a few more hogs/hunt for me to give an assessment.

All that being said...they're all just potlickers Wink

I've been reading both threads and keeping my comments in check. However, there is one thing I am having trouble with.
I can't imagine buying a dog from a breeder who won't go comment in a "public forum" about their dogs. I'm not talking about bragging, or promoting, just an honest assessment of their line. When conversations must be in private, I become suspicious....

I may have been a bit rude about it but this is exactly what I was getting at......I mean if I have nothing to hide and I truely do own and work these dogs then I would jump at the opportunity to expand my consumer base....isn't it pretty much considered good business practice? I personally don't own a kennel/breeding program and i have never bred to sell, however i have ansolutely nothing agains't sellin pups from proven lines.
