Hi Bryant, so good of you to take the initiative to start a thread for the other guy. LOL!! Look, I'm being accused of starting my thread "just to sell dogs". That's not it at all, and I do not appreciate the condecending tone some like to use, under the pretence that they are interested in my dogs. Seems some are looking to start a "pile-on". I'm not interested in such a waste. Yet some on this forum have been very nice and accomodating, and are greatfull to learn more of this scammer. I thank these folks for their hospitality.

For those that just HAVE to know:

I have raise catahoulas and sold them for over 22 years, internationally, and I have 20 years of repeat customers, because my dogs work. I am sold out most of the time. I stay true to my breeding program and do not "jump bloodlines" to chase the "flavor of the month bloodlines. Some folks around hear are bugged because they say they never heard of me. Well, it's even, I have not heard of the either. Yet I do not challenge them to prove THEIR existance.

Some folks "get it" about the scammer and understand that I would try to reverse the damage thrown at me, that this scammer anounced to the baypen/hunting worlds that I was out of business. Some folks seem to be offended that I stand up for my self, announcing that I'm still in business, accusing me of just trying to sell dogs.

I thank those who have showed me hospitality of this forum. I'm gone now.  Peace and good hunting to all. Saltydog Catahoulas

You still never answered the question of how they hunt etc....  I asked for him cause I hunt with him and he is stuck on dogs with spots and always looking to find some better than his and I do in all honesty think it was a sincere question but you still dodged it prety good.   Undecided

Um saltydog you posted this on your thread.....

Quote
Saltydog, what's the problem?

He asked you how your dogs hunted... simple question.

I don't how that is grilling you? We're all here to talk dogs and hogs.
Mike, are you condoning topic drift? I'd appreciate folks stay on topic of my thread. If I'm out of line, go ahead and deleate this thread of mine.  Their questions have nothing to do with the topic at hand. As I said, they are free to contact me privately or they can start their own thread if this thread does not interest them, and I will respectfully stay on ThEIR topic and answer what ever questions they might have for me. I have enough saavy to tell when there is a "mines bigger/better than yours" fight is at hand. I do not care to be involved in such "contest". My dogs speak for themselves about their ability.

Well now this is underdogs thread and i believe he asked you a simple enough question, if you aren't just another puppymill breedin operation then why don't you answer the question and clear the air?Huh? Doesn't seem to much to ask really.......

I believe somebody came to this forum with a big ol chip on their shoulder to begin with.

I didn't see nothing rude or pointed about the original question of how them dogs generally hunt. I believe it was an innocent question that only would have required a genuine answer.

As far as cward being your marketing man, I believe you'd have money well spent. His baby boy could sell ice to an Eskimo or maybe even spotted dogs to a hog hunter.  Wink

Well I asked about the dogs as well, and NO I don't have time to call everyone asking about their dogs when this forum is pretty easy to do it on.  I like to know as much about the dogs out there as possible and am a firm believer in being on the lookout for a better dog.  Once you stop looking, you've come to a halt in my opinion.

I've hunted behind some Catahoulas that I'd cull my whole yard to own, but those kind are few and far between.  I think youshould just let whatever chip is on your shoulder go, because the guys that post regularly on this website are as good as they come and might come off as smart a$$'s but it's the Internet so take it all with a grain of salt cuz typed words have no emotion  Wink

Salty i asked the question on the other thread because i wanted to know... Nothing more. The main reason i asked is because my first cat zeke had salty blood in him from years ago according to the ped.. Glen dugas spoke highly of your dogs back when i bought zeke. I was just trying to get an idea how the salty blood hunted. If you have a long range cold nose tons of bottom cat that is ready to show me pork i will buy it now. Ohh and a word of advice.... chill buddy!

So let me see if I got this right---
I started a thread, and some have asked questions NOT pertaining to the topic(which is disrespectful to begin with), which I didn't answer due to topic drift, YET the fact is, if you were REALLY interested, I have offered to answer any of your questions via private email and phone(see my website) Then somebody posted a weak excuse that he couldn't afford the time on the phone(claiming it would take minimum 2-3 hours) to do this,(yet it's alright to live on the forum for him--what's with that?). And so, though I am polite to all, now I'm called a puppy mill, and came to the forum with a chip on my shoulder, amongst other snide remarks. Do I have this right? This is reason enough for all your hostilities?

Did it ever occur to any of you, that maybe I do not wish to brag about my dogs on a public forum?, Yet some of ya'll have simply put me on trial--like I ain't welcome unless I jump through all yout "little tests".. Your making a serious mistake if you take my politeness as a "weakness".

So, since I didn't let you hecklers derail me on my own thread, I am no-count? Gee what a friendly bunch. So take a look at your selves--If you were me, would you discuss business with ya'll? Ya'll need to get a life.

Peace and good hunting to those who show a little class.

All they asked was a simple question is do they hunt deep or close and bottom or no bottom? Its not like they are asking you to break down all the dogs in your breeding program! It's simple question.

Well it's a public forum, surely there are people that have owned or hunted behind these " Salty- Dogs"....

If you have owned, currently own or had the pleasure of hunting behind some of these "secret" dogs could you please give us an honest opinion on how they performed??
