Need some advice on game cameras. What's a good one that will produce a decent picture and won't destroy my wallet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The cuddeback has awesome trigger speed and takes good pics. I dont think ive ever got a pic with out an animal in it. And the only problem ive had with was when that batteries got drained it would continie to take pictures for like five minutes after triggered. The bigger square ones are a lil cheaper now and I think ive heard u can get refurbished ones through natchez or sportsman guide. I cant speak on their newest models cuz I havent tried them...and wouldnt spend that much.

Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna try and get serious with stand hunting this year. I've always been content just running the dogs, but places being so slim to hunt with dogs. I don't really have a choice if I want to hunt.

I know some hate the wildgame innovations but i bought 4 of them last august and they stayed in the woods from aug to january, 1 of the four gave me a bit of grief so i took it off the tree straight to academy and exchanged in no questions asked for a new on. Zero problems since and 2 of em have been running 24/7 surveillance at the house since april with zero issues to date. For the money i love them and they take great movies as well!

I have a cuddy back IR , a very pricey game cam , I sent it back when I first got it , then when it was sent back it was still messed up , I had a e-mail battle with them at this point , they told me the batterys were dead and I didnt know what I was doing , anyway I sent it back again and they sent me a brand new one , it worked great last year , but this year it is jacked up again so here we go , I will never purchase a cuddyback product again

Moultrie M80 or Primos Truthcam are both good for the money. I have several Moultrie M80s with enegerzier lithium AA batteries that have been out for close to a year and still showing 100% battery.
