Dog food is getting higher every day  and is the biggest expense in owning multiple dogs. I have tried everything in the book , even cooking mash like the old timers did . I bought and feed the most expensive food sold and not one dog hunted any better. I went back to retriever from tsc and put an egg on each dogs food . That’s the cheapest  way I have found to keep my dogs feed and in good shape . I still feed raw pork when I have time to process it and freeze it for a week . Every thing helps to keep down the cost ! HUNT”UM  UP !!!!!

Sportmix blue bag 24/18 with about a tablespoon of rice bran oil on top, I feed way less dog food this way and a $30 gallon of rice bran oil last me 2 months feeding 5 dogs. I dont know If Im saving any $$$ at all but the dogs look alot better than just plain sportmix. Not to mention I save $5 a bag when I buy from walgreens, momma works there  Grin

I also use retriever from tsc and its just as good as anything ive used from sportdog to black gold. Just as an extra i get penutbuter in 55 gallon drums from a friend. I give 2 cups of dog food and 1 cup of penutbutter every day. They look as good as a rich mans dogs.

Man how much would it cost me for a couple deals of peanut butter.  I have been soaking my feed the last week or so after reading it on here and does seem like they need less and not near the water consumption.
