First time I've ever been able to put Whaler on a decent runner in the open... he did not dissapoint Spin went to the scent and got way behind, Whaler hamstrung the boar and when he went to spin and hook... ol' Whaler sucked an ear up and done deal... just like his momma!!! Really happy with the way this dog turned out (Whaler vid part 1) Nothin' like a 500yd dash first thing in the morning to make ya want to puke your guts out lol (Whaler vid part 2) ... honestly kinda creepy when Whaler comes up and stares at me when I sharpen my KBAR the night before... He's too smart for his own good sometimes lol Beatiful summertime Florida morning as we fixin' to drop some dogs! Lee and I got done huntin' on one ranch and decided ta go get our dive gear and do some arrowhead hunting in a remote/semi-clear lake on the property... we know there's a good gator that lives in it, but with all the "gator boys" we been watching... we said "what the hell" lol, and after several hours of intense bottom scratching... I found this! Half of a paleo knife/spearpoint... very thick piece, had it been whole, it would have been well over 5-7" long... well worth the dive! Several more videos to come(one of which I nearly lose my eye lol)... loading on photobucket as we speak

Put Whaler/Spinner out, they jumped this sow and she ran like hell lol... TWO HOURS LATER , garmin shows them bayed up a mile deep into the chit ... finally got into 'em and Lee wanted ta try and sneak in ta video a bit... as we eased closer, I saw big patches of blood on the ground so I went ahead and sent Bucho in so as I could make sure one of my dogs hadn't got cut. ... once I heard the dogs catch, I went to slip in and caught a cedar branch DIRECTLY in the eye lol... ... when it hit me, it blinded me instantly... I felt fluid coming out of my eye and I could not see. ... meanwhile, I was still trying to leg/stick the hog but I really couldn't see chit haha... but I got it done Was a damn close call, branch sliced my tear duct in half and blacked my eye... nothin' like pulling splinters out of your eyeball ... turns out, the blood I was seein' on the ground was from the hog's hamstring... which was cut in two. I love it when a plan comes together Me and my Whaler dog, post "stick in the eye" lol

Good stuff Noah! I wish that first vid was better quality cause I bet that was fun to watch. I feel your pain on the branch to the eye thing... was going into a bay once and steped on a mesquite branch, and it popped up and had a thorn hit my eye... couldn't see crap! That Whaler dog of yours is definitely making a hand... Good hogs and vids!

Good video Noah. I like to watch the dogs in action. Also glad to hear that you still have both of your eyes.
