I have nothing against one but if you can't get to a bay in time or you get on a big bad boar the vet bill is going to go up

i use a dane x pit but im sure anything would work with the right tools . staghound crosses are common also ridgeback crosses . the most productive rcd crosses i have seen are "catdo's" ..... dogo x catahoula . lots of leg and catches hard ! douglas mason has some pics of them on his website .... masonscatahoulas.com

I have an American Bulldog... Boyfriend has 2 pits. We are goin to mix out best catch dog (pit) with our best strike dog.. We hunt some small places at times so we are gonna try to get some strike dogs gritty enough to catch..

I think main thing is how the dog catches , if he is goin to be caught awhile he can't be trying to man handle the hog catch it an stop it from running but not try to hold it from moving any where , catch it an get up close to the hog an they don't get cut as much , jmo
