What experience do any of y'all have with the nasty crap?

Everyone keeps telling me that I am looking at a couple of MONTHS for a full recovery.... You gotta be kidding me. I told them in not your typical catch every cold person or one that lays on the couch all the time so I'm hoping it takes a couple of months for a "weaker" person.

Depends on how bad a case you have, part of the recovery is for your lungs to heal you may feel short of breath for awhile with any activity. If you can't get enough air you will feel tired and worn down and only want to rest. It's nothing to play around with you will also be more likely to get it in the future.

Y'all sure know how to make a girl feel special. Lol

I only had a very mild case in my right lung. So I'm hoping recoup wont be that bad.

there are two types bacterial and viral. The vaccine only works on 23 of the 80 different types of bacteria that will give you pneumonia and for most of the people the vaccine is good for a lifetime, others its 5-8 years and then you have to get it again. I had it twice, once when I was four and it led to sepsis and almost killed me, the second time was not a bad one for most but because I had it before it made it worse, so if you have it once dont ever get it again...it sucks.

They put me on like 3 different meds...

I'm feeling tons better, but still getting tired really easy, I was just wondering when I can expect to be back to normal?

On a different (good) note, it's been one week, and I went from smoking 1/2 a pack, to nothing. I've had one in the last week. Guess there is something to be said for being sick.

Good to hear about not smoking. Quit them cold turkey. Don't just cut back. Quit. It is all about will power. Those that say they can't quit
do not really want to quit. I only know you from this forum but you seem like a strong willed person. If you really want to quit, throw them
away and say #uck em.
