A few weeks ago, I went with a friend to put some cattle up on some land he has leased.  He has seen several groups of hogs, so he told me to bring a dog or two.  He didn't want me to bring a whole pack, so I took Moon, my Dogo/AB & Skunk who is 1/2 pit 1/4 Dogo 1/4 AB.  It took about 10 minutes to run the heifers back in, so we started driving around looking for some pigs.  The first group we came up on was out in the open a couple of hundred yards away.  I dropped the tailgate and started walking to the group.  As soon as the dogs saw the group they took off.  It wasn't long and each one had a hog caught.  Both were about 125 pounds.  We watered them & loaded up.  Three groups of hogs later, we had 7 caught hogs ranging from 80- 150 pounds.  The dogs hunted mostly on sight, but there was a group that ran pretty fast & they had to put their nose down and find the hogs themselves.  It was a fun afternoon.  It was the first time these guys have hunted with dogs and they both made good help.  There was 3 times that both dogs had a hog caught, so their help was much needed.

I stuck the hog and broke Skunk off that hog and my buddy let him get another bite, so I just took a quick picture.  The hot has been stuck in this picture, but hasn't killed over yet.
