She is ready the eleventh day after she starts dripping blood. You have a window of aprox. 1 week.

It's usually seven days coming in, seven days in heat, and seven days going out. 21 days total . Let the male cover her several times during the middle seven days.

put them together and when she is in "standing heat" and will stand still for him to do is deed, then it will be time. once you notice it, let him go at once a day so he doesnt drain himself all day every day. if you want the pups, the vet and other breeders have said to let them go at it once a day to ensure he has pleanty of swimmers every time he mounts her.

mother nature is pretty accurate herself. life has been spreading way before chemical testing.

X2, If she will stand still for it then she is ready. Once she stands let them tie up 4 or 5 times in 7 days or until she starts fighting him and you should end up with pups.

i agree about mother nature but not every female is the same. My last dogo breeding her levels werent ready until day 17. Some are ready early and some late. The progesterone test isnt the only way but def the most accurate. In almost all cases tho if you let them tie up every day or every other day after the first week she will be prego

the pregosterone test is the only way to go if you are traveling to have a gog bred or duing a.i. when they get one shot at it  .
