nice hogs. Hard to catch those without ears. Bulldogs probalby chewed them off when caught before. More than likely I say they are barrs. Be fun catching anyway

They were in there eating corn again last night. The pictures were blurry so I moved the camera around a little bit so they would be better , and I put out some rotten fruit and jello powder. They will love that. When I get the pics from tonight I will post them.

I cut them because I like to catch big hogs,  with big teeth. Look at the biggest hog thread most of the 300#+ hogs are barrs!

Not many years ago...you would get a rope around your neck around these parts....for stealing or killing another mans barrow with his mark. But times are a changing!

Jmize post them pictures when you get them. Or post some pictures of them with a rope around their feet. Smiley I would bet the black hog is a boar. He still looks to have a shield. The white one looks like a fat barr. But this is a good thread!

Here he is. Eating rotten cantaloupe and corn. He is missing his ears which will make things much more difficult.

That sucker is a beast. As big as he is with cutters like that and no ears, he will deffenitly be a hand full ! I would turn loose at least 2 or 3 catch dogs and have a couple buddies to help. Might not be a bad idea to have a lariat rope and pistol close just in case. I would still try to catch him alive though.

A good bulldog will still catch him.  He will grab whatever he can, jaw or snout.

Enjoy the pictures a lot, but i have to ask , what are you waiting on? Hogs like that don't come around  every day and won't stay in one area forever. .
