Fatboy. Not sure on age. 5 y/o or so. Got him a month and a half ago. Had him for a few days when he dug out of my kennels. Gone for a week. Have only huntted him 2 times. First time- he stayed 25 yards in front of me. He took off and made a 1000 yard loop. No idea what he was doing......he came back and I loaded him up. 2nd hunt was tonight. He left the box strong. Huntted very short range. Didnt get on any thing. I have yet to have him on any hogs. He will bay at one I have at the house. He has an ear problem as well..........what that problem is , I have no idea. He got into a fight years ago and his ears nevered healed. I thought he was deaf for a while, but I think he just likes to ignore me. He is not cow broke. He bunched some up tonight, he was easy to call off. If anyone wants, I will bring him to Bremond this weekend. I am getting rid of him because him and another male I have do not get along. It would be safe to say that he is alittle male agressive.   |

i wished i had room id get fatboy back i gave him to a buddy of mine a few years back along with his brother jasper,i havent seen fatboy up till you got him .. he has lees el nino and lees baduex along with pavlick lilly and double ott qypsy,,as far as his hunting style
he was a gritty catchy lil turd but he would get lazy in a pasture with no hogs.. but he was in a pasture that was piggy its on and hes gone
i know this dog has been on hundreds of hogs i have seen fatboy and 3 others take down a lot of hogs .. just like many in here and myself included
life throws some turns in the road that we have to take and fatboy wasnt hunted for a long time before you got him

he was worked some as a cowdog thats why he will bark at cattle but will call off and go on about business just tell him "" get ahead"
and when he is goofing off hollar "HEY" "get out" and that should get his attention!!

Dexter,
Thanks for the info on him. He took alittle while to warm up to me but he is real friendly. If I dont sell him I will prolly get him cut and see of that works. Might have to get both males cut though.

i hear ya. we should be able to leave feedback when we buy a dog from someone on here. kinda like ebay. then we would know who we can trust. first dog i bought was from a guy in the gonzales area. was supposed to be silent, trash broke, ..... well, ... she can find hogs, and chase a deer from one side of sam houston national forest to the other and you can hear her the whole way.
