got a call from my old man about my plott dog Rose passing. found her in her kennel the other morning. she was 14 and was a dog from hell since she was 6 months old. i cant begin to count the number of hides hang in the workshop from her. from bears, coon, pigs, yotes. she was a great meat dog and i know ill miss her old @$$ teachin young dogs what to do.

Hate to hear that its always hard to loose a dog especially one like that kinda like a family member. RIP rose

thanks fellas, got alil teary eyed when i typed that up. i wish i could have gotten more pups from her. last litter she ate them so we ended her line with her. she was heavy bred von plott lines and was even inspected by Bob Plott in her young years.

ive got some good stories i could share from her.

her favorite treat was my ham, egg, and chicken salad sandwich. laugh

Sounds like she lived a long and wonderful life, always doing what she loved.  I just hope to have dogs live that long.  Losing a family member always tough RIP Rose.

let me tell yall. my ol man could come in front feedin his hogs an she would literally bay his boots cause they smelled like a hog. her sight was pretty much gone. along with her hearing but id be danged if she would be the dog out there with her nose to the ground workin her best to line up a trail in the yard.
