You can train your dog to blow on the hog to keep it from overheating like I have done here.   Cool

A pic of Turbo and a sow that we caught today.

We brought him with us. That pic was taken at the truck. He just came along for the ride.  Grin  We still haven't ordered a vest for him.

You are right about that. I thought it was real funny. I would not have been smart enough to come up with the blowing to cool the dog off though. So it was a good picture but your joke made the picture. That was real clever.

Thank you. Reuben, Turbo is a designer mutt. He is pit, dogo, mastiff, and dane.  Grin  He is hog crazy but Im pretty attatched to him. Not sure if I want this one hunting. The vote is still out on that one.  Grin

his mama caught one last time she was out by herself. one bay dog pup was on the hog coming our way saw us stopped on the hog, I released rachel my friend sitting there with his pit said she would not catch the hog she ran 30-40 yards til she hit a cypress knee which slowed her for only a second, she screamed while  accelerating until she caught the hog 20 yards later. her pups I kept weigh 70lbs female and 75 male.  taking rachel to the woods this saturday.

Good to see you on here. Ive been wondering how Turbo's siblings were doing. Turbo weighed 90lbs the last time that we had him at the vet several months ago. Id be willing to bet that now he weighs 100 to 110. I know that it hurts like heck when he steps on my toes. LOl. I have no doubt that he will make an awsome catch dog. Me and my husband are very attatched to him. He lives in the house and goes every where with us. He is also VERY protective of us and our home. He was completely house broke by 3 months old. He is very smart, has a great handle and HATES hogs. He winds them from the ranger also. But Im having a hard time with the idea of sending my good buddy to a bay. He loves to ride in the ranger and the truck with us. We even buy him a kids meal when he is with us and we stop to get a bite to eat. Im sure that after we order him the best cut vest on the market, I may be willing to let him do a little hunting.  Grin He is built like a bull dozer, and leggy at the same time. I will post a few more pics of him.

That's a good looking dog you have there.  Sure looks like he's built for it.  I know I'd have a hard time not hunting him.  Hope to see him on the ground next time I'm down!!
