Ok. I had a great hunt last night with my newly introduced now hog dogging addicts buddy. We caught a really nice boar and followed him up with some good sows and a smaller boar. But check this out. When we got back to the first boat we had caught we discovered something I've never ran into in my fifteen years of catching hogs. We have all seen the midevil day movies where one of the weopons is a ball of iron swinging from a club on a chain. Do hogs have good enough mechanical skills to build such a weapon on the end of their tails. If you were to come ask me that question before this hog I would have laughed and called you a f***** idiot. Before last night.. this boar had a perfect ball of mud on just the right spot on the end of his tail to where it would swing with some velocity when he would spin. It was hardened just right and weighing eight ten lbs could've easily knocked out a grown man. It was made with as much perfection as if a human had molded it with. His or her hands. I have pics and still have the tale. I don't know how to upload pics but would love to txt to someone who does so they could put them on here for me. My # is 8302553358. If someone would help me out with that it would be much appreciated.

lol yeah it's deadly  not uncommon to see in the warmer months . when hogs are wallowing frequently they build up the mud balls on their tails . not so bad in the sandy lands but back in waxahachie in the black gumbo i've seen some balls that would go 20 lbs they will eventualy get heavy enough to pull the hair out and fall off .
