Met up with Aaron and Courtney, whom we met on a hunt Friday. We turned the dogs loose around 6:30, hunted hard for about three or four hours, workin a good patch of milo and the adjacent woods. There was no fresh sign, we were about 200 yards from the truck when Sam threw his head up and headed off. About a minute or two later out came running a good size boar right at us with Sam not far behind. By the time the hog got out of sight there were four dogs hot on his heels. It ran the dogs through some very thick rose hedge, and lost them for a bit but we heard my pup Peachez sound off and when we showed up all dogs were bayed. Sent Aaron's catch dog Jag in and right before he hit, Sam and Reggie decided they wanted to get them some too. Got the boar barred and turned loose. Our pack has really matured over the last month or two, they are really starting to get out and hunt hard. I checked my gyp Peachez's Garmin collar after the hunt and she put in 25 miles this morning ! Circle C, thanks again for workin on gettin us Aaron's phone number late last night. He has a great catch dog and was fun to hunt with. Dickey(cull buck), Courtney, and myself (bottom to top) Sam, McLovin, Jag, Peachez

Good hog guys! Looks like I missed a good hunt, sure wish I could have made it, but I knew I would be dragging bad after this weekend. Glad everything worked out and Aaron was able to meet up with y'all and bring some catch power.

Glad to see Sam in the woods doing what he loves. Put him on the ground, and he'll show you where the hogs are.
Sounds like a great hunt!

That was a fun hunt. Its always nice to be able to invite some people hunting and produce some excitement even if its in the 9th inning with 2 outs.
The dogs did really good. They stuck with that pig thru about a .5 mile of some very thick rose hedge and scrub brush before shutting it down.
I definately need to get a boar bib or some type of vest for Sam. He must have a bullseye on his chest.

Yeah I got some scars from the briars, but it aint nothing a city boy can't handle. Wait till the end of July when we hunt the milo fields, thats when I wear my nike's and running shorts Clint, Mike, after hearing about you guys hunts I didn't want to be the only guy on here not barring him. He ought to put some weight on real quick, we turned him loose about 500 yards from a huge milo field.

Ugly dog, Courtney is a great hand, she is not scared to get into the thick of things, and she has got good little hog dog. They are very nice people and we are already workin on something for next weekend. dblackwell, the leather cut collar is awesome. This boar broke one of its cutters off on Sam's collar. First hunt we used it on it got some huge gashes, a strap was cut off and the other strap was almost ripped in half. Cull buck made some customizations and replaced the leather straps with some dayglow collars and we are back in business.

i like the mod you made. those straps are a little weak and i'll be doing it to i'm sure. its easy for a hog to get a tooth in there and throw a dog or break a strap. i think i'll use a 2 in dayglo and put it in the middle so there is only one buckle. i think mine were built a little diferent than yalls
