Got some pups that I'm real excited about was just wondering at what age and how everyone goes about starting pups what is your preference

Mine go as soon as they gey old enough to keep up. 100% success. Works for me.

One guy I know never shows his dogs a hog until their 2 years old. I show mine hogs when they are old enough to follow me to the pen. I let them see the sights, sounds , and smells in a controlled safe manner. No rush. They start up when they want. Don't over due it and never put them with too much hog until I know they can handle it. Both ways work fine. I think my way is better as exposure to different things builds a better dog.

earlier the better had some just barley could walk straight and when i went to feed the pigs they figured it out couldnt keep them out had to put them up everytime i left the house and they would escape and go get in the pen and with a 350lb hog that never touched them ended up being some awesome dogs
