Any body have one? Or hunted with one?

I talked to a guy who hunts coyotes with them. Look like a thick version of a grey hound.

I plan on making one. They can be different combinations. My husband has a Lurcher that is 3/4 Whippet and 1/4 bulldog. She's somethin' else!

I wanna make one with a Greyhound and a bulldog. Some folks use collie x greyhound. Everyone that I've some across that has Lurchers, is very satisfied.....

I don't understand, what makes a dog be considered a Lurcher? Is it two specific type of dogs being bred or is it just a purebred mutt?

Ohh now I get it. I wonder what a stag x dogo cross would be like. It would probably be real quick right?

A lurcher is a sighthound crossed with any working dog.  A longdog is any two different sighthound breeds crossed.  Gazehounds & Coursing by M.H. Dutch Salmon is a good book about American stags and greyhounds.  Vargy's forum is probably the best online resource for anyone looking for info on them.
