Has anyone entered the SwampDoggersHogRoundup? It's in okeechobee fl. I'm debating on whether or not I'm entering it. If anyone is interested let me know we can team up & split the prize. First place is 3,000. I have all the catch we could need all we would need are some good find/bay dogs. Mine are to puppish.

I thought about it but decided not to may go to the weigh in tho , there's another tourny come up in feb also 300 entry 5 man teams my buddy talkin bout teamin up so we will see what happens

just read their website, I've never done a competition hunt, so how does this work, you just catch them on your own land or land that you have permission to hunt then show up at the weigh in? or is there a place they let everyone hunt for the weekend? |

The one I use to go to was at a ranch in okeechobee where we had 2 hours for each team to catch as many pigs as possible. The team who caught the most won. But I've also been to one where you hunt on your own place, or at a place where you have permission to hunt. I like the second way better.

There's a lot of rules and regs ! But u hunt yer own land or permission land bring yer hogs to weigh in the way I read it is the hogs have to be feild dressed barr hogs won't count as biggest boar all 5 team members have to be in pic with hog and teams sign and so forth . Winning teams will be polygraphed for truthfulness on where when and how hogs were ccaught any brought from pen trapped an so fourth will be dq and banned from future events
