Guys, I had a terrible mishap last night DaisyDog and I were hunting Clay last night after about two months of trying to get him over a bad shoulder injury. all was well caught a hog pretty quick then he went long and fast on one, a little over a mile and the Garmin showed him bayed, about two hrs passed before we made it to him which turned out to be about ten mins. to late. He was by himself as usual and bayed solid about 600 yards out he stopped baying. we waited for a few mins thinking the hog may have broke but quickly realized he wasnt moving. We walked in to him to find him in shock and his non injured shoulder facing backwards. That hog put an end to Clay. The vet told me this morning that he had severe nerve damage to his shoulder and would more than likely never be able to hunt again. I am looking for several top dollar females to breed him to. I would either buy these females or lease them for a litter of pups. I am not looking to breed him to anything short of a real hogdog! I will make it worth your while if you have the right dog. or would even work out something on splitting the litter. If you need references on Clay I can provide you with several that can attest to the dog that Clay is. thanks for your time and considderation.

Yea, it sure does. I have been about to cry all day. You know alot of you guys out there have a good dog. The people that have hunted with NORTHTXHOGHUNTER will tell you he is a super dog! and Im sure he is, JAG has a dog that is retired now that is a super dog he brought him out of retirement one night just so I could see him and he is what everyone says he is. Clay has been makin a name for himself as well since I have had him over here. Dogs like Clay, HollyWood, and JAG's dog dont come by everyday. I am willing to accept the fact that Clay probably bayed his last hog last night all the more reason for me to activly search out a few females and try to get some of his pups on the ground. I would love for all of us that hunt together up here to have a clay dog on the ground in the near future! You know its easy to love your own dog enough to bragg on him but I have had everyone that has ever hunted with him tell me what a great dog they think he is, except for McCoy and he wanted to kill him.....lol Call me some time

Sorry to hear about your Clay dog. Tell us some more about him.
Clay is a big red 1/2 Plott 1/2 BMC that looks like a big Red Bone hound. Weighs 80 lbs, he hunts on the run and if he is barking he is standing about 15 feet in front of the hog looking him in the eye. Clay has a huge motor and more bottom end than any dog I have ever seen, He will bay a hog till you get there, you dont have to hurry to him once he finds a hog you can go to town and eat dinner stop at walmart and go to the High School Football game while you are in town. When you get back to the woods Clay will still be bayin that hog. Clay finishes 98% of the tracks he starts and thats not a stretch! The only hole that I have seen in him is he is not gritty at all, you may go a mile to him and find him bayed on a 25 pounder. We had a litter of DOGO pups that would come over to Clays kennel at feeding time and would eat out of the same bowl with him. Is he the best dog in the world??? Probably not but he is the best one I have ever hunted with! I dont know what else to say but those considdering to breed to him I can give you a list of people you can talk to and you can find out what others think of him.
