Patrick, You know a fella like me only got one good dog, so I got to wait on him. And that dog is a C level compared to my buddies from South Carolina.  What you talkin about, since I lost Plott I am down to one that is drawing social security and pups. LOL I am darn happy to bay a hog on my own rite now. |

1. HEART-I WANT A DOG THT WONT QUIT!
2. NOSE- NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO FIND THEM
3. STAMINA- A DOG WITH HEART NEEDS GOOD STAMINA
4. ABILITY TO STOP A HOG, BAY AND GET GRITTY WHEN NEEDED
5. RANGE, I CANT STAND TO SEE A DOG BY THE WHEELER MED-LONG

1. ability to track, wind and follows nose quickly.
2. drive/ be the one to find the hog
3. ability to stop a hog and keep it stopped..... if it can do this it doesnt need much bottom
4. speed and stamina
5. i think everything else can be trained into a dog to some extend. i know alot of ppl disagree but what i hear and what i see are startin to be two different things.

4. bottom/ my num 4. pick cause with the first 3 i should be there with the catch dog and hog caught
5. handle/ im there to catch hogs not chase and track dogs
