I got a good lookin cur from a man who's yard he wanderd up in. Real leggy old timey looking young dog mabie a year or so old. Same way bag of bones you could count ribs and bumps on his back. Brought him home and its been 3 weeks or so now he looks good not fat but dang sure healthy. I wormed him real good 1st and most importantly and I fed him raw hamburger meat about a pound ever mornin and feed with about a half loaf of bread of an evening for 2 weeks along with liquid b12 on his feed. Slim as I call him has put on a lot of weight in the past few weeks using this method.

tape worm. Prizaqintal(sp) is about the only thing that will take care of them.

shut em down   get you some powdered pro-biotics they sell it every where [ feed dealers ]  and add to feed giving a b-12 shot increases appetite . and save all your cooking oil from the house it is flavored up with whatever you cooked with it bacon grease works wonders  . i don't use corn oil i use regular old fashion lard [ animal fat ] if you put bacon grease on the dog food i can garranty it'll clean the bowl lol i would  everythings better with bacon  lol .

Get em to fat and they're worthless in the woods.

You'll have to learn your dog, some dogs are just rawboned, but them kind are usually as hard as woodpecker lips.

I had a similar problem with two of my dogs, I switched feed to alpo or some crap like that, and within a week problem was solved.  One of the dogs was my bulldog house dog so i wasnt real concerned about the crap feed, but for my working dog i do half alpo (or whatever it is) and half high protein from TSC.
