Thought I would share a pic from this weekend with y'all. We had a couple of good hunts and ended up with 11 hogs. Some hog hunters from Florida tagged along with us and seemed to have a great time. I thank they were impressed with Texas hunting but didn't know what to thank about west Texas canyons......The boar in the picture weighed 296#'s and but up a pretty good fight.He broke three bays and made it about 900 yards.  weekends three best  |

Sounds like you did have a good weekend. 11 hogs is rediculous. I'm sure those Florida boys will have a bunch of good stories to tell when they get back home.

Noah, I have no idea who the Florida guys are. One guy was named Richard and I think one was named Jess and one more I did not get.. They are freinds of a freind. I met them at 10pm Sat. night and we hunted till 3am. So, I didn't know them for long and I'm no good at names.  I'll find out for sure who the guys are and see if you may know them. Hell, they maybe members here as well...it never came up. I have three dogs that are BMC x Florida curr that came from the Richard's guy's blood line, which are awesome dogs! |
