Thanks, I put them on a couple pigs a while back and they bayed once I turned the pigs loose and let them run they caught em and stretched em out. Everything I read about stags says they are slow starters so I im hoping they get better.

Just an update. Only one ended up making the cut. He's been on at least 75 pigs and is doing great.

They weren't as "hard" as him if that makes sense... They would actually bay a pig sometimes, now they would catch and hold anything that was running but not run in to a bay and just straight catch every time.  Seeing how I run loose dogs and send catch dogs from close range they just weren't what I wanted. They might have made someone a good set of RCD's...

I bred him to my Dogo/Pit a while back. She spit out 14 pups. 7 came out dead, 3 died in the first 12 hours and she squished one at about 2 weeks. Had 3 make it and gave one male to a good friend of mine and his bulldog killed it.

Here is the mom and the 2 pups. Male is the short hair one and the female is the somewhat hairy one..

Mom. Gotta excuse her excessive weight right now. She was on a self feeder throughout her pregnancy and took FULL advantage of it.

Just an update on the Stag/Dogo/Pit cross. The two I have left (male and female) are getting big at 7 months old. Let some of my yella pups bay a pig this weekend and let them watch for a bit. After they got good and wound up I sent them in and they both caught immediately.

The hairy female

The slick male

The male from the first cross at almost 2 years old. My go to catch dog now
