Cameron blueticks are known for the coldest noses and are used on coons and big game. Good luck getting one though. If you actually buy one from Mr. Cameron, the waiting line is over a year at most times.

Thanks everybody. Me and my buddy are wanting to get a pup with a strong bloodline and tree in back ground. Still trying to find the best kennels to look at and talk to. I don't mind driving to get one.

I don't mind driving up to 10 to 15 hours if it's worth it. And I don't know how much yet, just depends on the dog I guess. How much do started dogs go for?

Just as many slow walkers as there is any other breed , walkers tend to be more hot nosed because more people comp hunt walkers ,
Blue ticks usally have a little colder nose not always
