Im wondering if anybody has seen a dog and has had only 1 eye reflect light at night. We noticed this weekend on a cur gyp that her right eye shines fine out in the spotlight, her left eye has no reflection at all. In general, she seems fine in every area, no signs of being blind. She is 9 mths old.

I had a dog go blind in one eye. She had only one eye reflection at night. You would never know she only could see out of only one eye.

I wanted to add while the dog was eating i would put my hand towards the bad eye and the dog wouldn't react. Did the same towards the good eye and the dog would flinch or look up. That's how i knew for sure one eye was bad.

I have 95% all white hulla that has 2 glass eyes. But if its dark and a little light hit him his eyes glow bright red... I mean BRIGHT like you took red suran rap and pulled it over a flash light. If you shine a light in his dog house at night you can see the red reflecting off his white paws. Freaking creepy!!!

Anyone have input on this one?
