All of the brindles that we have ever had were brindle at birth but it does seem to show up better at they age. Ive seen some really dark brindle pups that look almost black at birth who lighten up a bit as they get older.

On the opposite end of the color spectrum, I've had light grey and black leopard cat pups turn into dark brown leopards with a lot of brindle within 6 months of birth.

The horse is doing fine. He wanted me to ride it for him for a few months. So that's what I did. Then he never came and got it. It's still in my pasture. It's really too much, horse for a beginner. In my opinion.

I would think so. it sounds like our buddy didn't let you in on the fact that the horse is a high dollar thoughbred that my aunt give him because it had some minor issues in one of its knees. nothing major, just wasn't good for it to be push to max like the racing would do anymore.

I knew that it was a race horse. I think that he lost interest and we just dont have any use for a horse like that. If you want it or know someone who wants it, come and get it because its just a hay burner right now.

my past experience with puppies born in my back yard were be born brindle and they stayed brindle...but I have had a few that were born brown and I thought they would turn red as they got older...These pups actually started turning brown brindle by 3 or 4 weeks...others turned red...
