took the dogs out to a property that we picked up in October but have not been able to hunt do to goat season. We were not 300 yards from the truck when the dogs left out on a track. they follow the creek down about 500 yards and show bayed. As we head to them they keep moving slowly down the creek about as fast as we are walking. I can hear them hammering down the entire way, so I know they are walking with a good 1 ! They finally show stopped and we gain some ground on them. About 70 yrds out we fire off the catchdogs... And caught hog in the creek, 5 ft walls on the sides and waist deep water. Eric and Jon jump in and handle business, as I through leads down and start pulling catchdogs up the bank. After a quick rest we snap a few pics we start looking for jons lost garmin. We can't find it no where so start to head back to wheelers and Eric finds it at the fence we crossed. Jon was relieved ! Go to truck and start cleaning wounds and stapling  dogs up... Decide to take the rest of the pups and go across the street behind the landowners house for a quick investigation run. we move some trees off the road for her so she can get back to back of property again. there's pig sign everywhere so we cut the pups loose. Few minutes later got a good bay. Before we can get the catch dogs unloaded it starts squealing. So we fire Cash off to em from 280 yrds to help hold till we get there. We could have caught more but I was already running late so we hauled out and told the landowner that we would return next weekend !
