California Anti-Hunting Bill Scheduled for Hearing
California Senate Bill 1221, which bans the use of dogs when hunting bears and bobcats, has been scheduled for a hearing on Tuesday, April 24th.  The bill will be heard by the Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee at 9:30 am (room to be determined).  It is vital that sportsmen contact their senators in opposition prior to this meeting.

It's coming.

The bill passed out of committee today.  HSUS already has a press release posted on their website.  Committee vote was 5 in favor, 3 against.  According to their press release over 200 supporters attended the hearing.  And Judd Hanna, former California Fish and Game commissioner, current CalTIP Foundation president and president of the California Game Wardens Foundation, hunter, rancher, and outdoorsman testified in support of the bill.

What will everybody do with their dogs, shoot them, or set them free to roam?

Nevada has recently petitioned for the ban also and it was REJECTED! Hopefully this is a good sign that the intelligence level gets higher the further east you come!

One step closer to taking our rights,  it affects us much more than we know.  It is just one more step toward stopping all hunting. That is these antis ultimate goal, and they are winning one step at a time.  Many of the gun hunters that are against dogs don't realize they will be facing the same situation one day soon.
