Do any of you guys attach your garmin collars directly to your cut collars. I was thinking it would be a lot easier if it was a packet deal.
I'm thinking about riveting a short section of nylon collar with tracker to the cut collar.
What are you thoughts? If you've done it how did you do it. Thanks for the help

The 4 collars i have, will allow for the dc collars to attach, just gotta buckle the cut first n then the dc. It would make an emerg removal seem like hrs though. The riviting or stainless machine screws would work fine better than double buckling

My cut collars all have loops on them, I lace my garmin's through them and leave them on there.

We run our Garmin collar through the cut collar's loop. Works well.

You might be onto something. I really like that idea. I think I'll give it a try when I got some spare time. I hate messin with puttin em on top of the cut collars

I just put it threw the loops and leave it on there wish there was a way to put the trash breaker on there as well..

Some cut collars can be purchased with two loops, but the shock may not penetrate, would be good for the Garmin and the older types together. |

I got you on the loops. I've got five and they all go through the loops and I try to leave them in there when I remove the collars.
What frustrates me is the fact that the buckles in the cut collar are always in the way when trying to tighten the tracker. The tracker is hard to get tight in the cut collar because you have to compress the cut collar to the tracking collar tight.
I don't know how I'm going to do it yet but I'll have a DC 40 mount to wild boar cut collar shortly.

I just think it'd be easier and more convenient to have it made in. I've had the loops but don't think their a necessity

 I have wanted to do this for a while, and this post made me decide to go ahead and do it. It took about 1hr to cut out cut collar with a razor blade, it should be well worth the time spent. The main reason I did this is it's a pain trying to adjust the cut collar & the garmin collar so they fit dogs good without gaps in either one. |

I really like the outcome of the collar reatj81. I've thought about doing it in the past but I do tend to switch trackers around on dogs depending on if I forgot to charge them. Also I change up cut collars on dogs depending if its cool enough to run a RCD or bay vest on em. Might do it for the summer time while im not running any vest though.

I just got 5 cut collars that have a two built in straps that hold the reciever they work great i got them at TEJAS OUTDOORS in rusk i think they were like 20 dollars a piece with the name tag pretty good deal
